27.04 show:

There was a six man pre-show match for the fans featuring Dingo Warrior!

Match One: Lacey/Rain vs Alison Danger/Sarah Del Rey

This was a solid opener and a pretty entertaining women's match. Jimmy

Jacobs came out with Lacey and Rain and even interfered in the match.

Sarah Del Rey put both Lacey and Rain in the Guillotine at the same time,

but the finish came after Lacey hit the implant DDT on Alison Danger.

Winners: Lacey and Rain

Match Two: Mike Elgin vs Titus

This match didn't last very long as Jimmy Rave hit the ring and attacked

Titus. This attack led to

Match Three: Jimmy Rave vs Mike Elgin

Elgin looks a lot like Rhino, so the crowd kept asking for the Gore. Well,

they got it from Rave. A short match that made the crowd happy as Rave

wins by submission.

Winner: Jimmy Rave

Match Four: Shingo vs BJ Whitmer

This was a great back and forth match. These two worked very well together

and the crowd was hot for the whole match. Whitmer hit an Exploder from

the top rope, but it wasn't enough. Shingo got the win with the Last

Falconry.

Winner: Shingo

Match Five: Ultimate Endurane for the ROH Tag Titles

Akuma/Hallowicked vs Jigsaw/Quackenbush vs Primeau/Franklin vs The Briscoes

Fall One: Submission Match

Primeau and Franklin were eliminated

Fall Two: Scramble Rules

Akuma and Hallowicked were eliminate

Fall Three for the belts:

It looked like Jigsaw knocked himself silly towards the end of the match

when he went for the double drop kick from the top rope. He seemed out of

it and the Briscoes quickly dumped him to the floor. The Briscoes picked

up all three eliminations to retain the gold.

Winners: The Briscoes

Match Six: Anything Goes Colt Cobana/Homicide vs Brent Albright/Adam Pierce

This match was an all out brawl. it went into the crowd and all over the

place. All four men looked very good and the crowd was electric for the

whole match. Much to the dismay of the fans, Pierce got the pin on Cobana,

but Homicide deliverd the Cop Killa on Hagadorn to the delight of

everyone. Cobana finished it off with a Colt45.

Winners: Adam Pierce and Brent Albright

Intermission Time

Match Seven: Eric Stevens vs Rocky Romero vs Jack Evans vs Delirious

Another match were the crowd was hot until the end. There really wasn't

any big move from Jack Evans like you would expect, but plenty from the

rest of the wrestlers. Romero picks up the win by pinning Evans.

Winner: Rocky Romero

Match Eight: FIP Title Rodrick Strong vs Christopher Daniels

This was a match the fans wanted to go crazy for, but just when it started

to pick up it slowed back down. There were some good spots here and there,

but it was quickly forgotten by a rest hold or one of the wrestlers

falling out of the ring. Strong retained because of a count out.

Winner: Roderick Strong

Main Event: ROH Champion Takeshi Morishima vs Austin Aries

This was a great match. The crowd was very much behind Aries the whole

match. Morishima lived up to the hype. Aries looked to have won the match,

but the champ got his foot on the rope at the last second. Morishimo picks

up the win in the end.

Winner: Takeshi Morishima

28.04 show

--Delirious won the six man mayhem, pinning Akuma with what I believe was the Chemical Imbalance II. Jigsaw was in the match (even after getting knocked silly last night) and Quack was over huge.

--Erick Stevens and Chris Daniels went to a draw. After the match, Daniels quit and wished he never returned to ROH.

--Brent Albright won the Four Way Dance, pinning BJ Whitmer after an Exploder Suplex. Homicide and Jimmy Rave were also in the match. It was said to be "Stiff," whatever that means.

--Austin Aries defeats Rocky Romero with the 450 Splash. Afterward, Roderick "Pinchable Cheeks" Strong came in for the beat down on Aries, but Delirious was in to make the save.

Announcement: ROH returns to Chicago on June 23 with the return of Marafuji AND Bryan Danielson v. KENTA. His matches just aren't the same without the high pitched japanese girl screams.

--Morishima defeats Shingo with a suplex. Might not be the Back Drop Driver.

--Intermission probably took place.

--Bobby Dempsey v. Sugarfoot is set. Tank Toland is out. It turns into Toland v. Sugarfoot, and Sugarfoot is mauled. Mauled like a bear. Tank Toland wins. Toland now offers to train Bobby Dempsey.

--Roderick Strong defeats Jack Evans with a crucifix into something. I believe it killed Evans. Then Romero joined in on a beating and Delirious made the save again, cutting a promo.

--ROH Tag Team Titles. The Briscoes defeat The Motor City Machine Guns. (I would like to point out that in the opening moments of the match, Chris Sabin dove into his corner to retreat and was petted by Shelley as a means of comfort.) This is all my friend had to say: "Fucking awesome match." Evidently it lived up to the hype. Not sure what was the finishing move that put the MCMG away.

--Main Event: Colt Cabana makes Adam Pearce submit with the Billy Goat's Curse.

Morishima vs Danielson.

"Good Times, Great Memories" A Tribute To Colt Cabana

1. Six Man Mayhem: Delirious defeated Gran Akuma, Jigsaw, Hallowicked, ROH Top Of The Class Trophy winner Pelle Primeau, and Mike Quackenbush in 10:29 when Delirious pinned Akuma with the Chemical Imbalance II. Outstanding opener where the CHIKARA guys shined. Mike Quackenbush was welcomed along with his students with total open arms, as in one point in this match, Akuma was thrown to the floor, he got up but was met by Hallowicked who attemped an electric chair, as Hallowicked was on Akumas shoulders outside the rip, Quackenbush busted out an incredible tope to the outside. Delirious and Hallowicked reformed their CHIKARA pro team Incoherence after a conversation in which Delirious noticed audibly that they were both "green and black" Last two minutes saw every man hit their big moves, including Quackenbush hitting Quackendriver's one and two, the shadows over hell by Delirious, A awesome looking stunner by Akuma, a tornado DDT by Pelle (did he ever bodysurf up to Nomb Alaska?), a superkick by Jigsaw and a fisherman bomb by Hallowicked with other guys breaking up the near falls til the end. The CHIKARA guys need to come back to ROH as their style is reminiscent of the Dragon Gate style of high paced, fast action with great flying and matt wrestling. With so many people (Shingo, Daniels, Cabana) leaving, these guys seem to have definite character and should be on the 2007 ROH roster (with El Generico and Kevin Steen)

2. Erick Stevens vs. Christopher Daniels went to a fifteen minute time limit draw. Slow moving at times, but got good towards the end. Neither man seemed to have much of an advantage here. Much of the match was Daniels playing the heel by choking Stevens, slamming him on the outside, and going back with the abdolinal stretch and using his elbow and digging into this side of the body. Stevens did come back with an overhead belly to belly and another overhead suplex, and did his Cho-Cho run into the corner. He attempted it a second time only to have Daniels move out of the way, and hit a double knees on Stevens chest for a near fall. Samoan Drop/ Arabian Press for another two. Stevens caught Daniels on the top rope and got him in a powerslam neckbreaker (had him up for a powerslam but hit the neckbreaker when Bobby Cruise announced their was only one more minute in the match. Stevens attempted to hoist up Daniels for a gut wrench move but Daniels grabbed Stevens leg and held on for the draw. Now it gets interesting…

The crowd was chanting for five more minutes. Stevens got on the mic and said even though he was the new guy he was "seconds away" (?) from being Daniels. He wanted five more minutes on the clock. Daniels got on the mic and gave one of the greatest promos I have heard in sometime "I'm going to tell you – no. I'm pulling status" Daniels noted as he laughed into his thoughts while telling Stevens to "vacate as I have something to say." Daniels talked about his exile from ROH after the Rob Feinstein-Perverted Justice issue. "Two years back – my excile ended – and I should have never come back. I fought tooth and nail and you don't even care. I'm insequential" He went on to say he was taken for granted and asked when the last time he was given a shot at the world championship rather then "fill in matches" and "four corner scrambles." He said "four corner scrambles" with amazing sarcasm. He felt like he was treading water while the breaks belong to others. He mentioned his world tag team championship title reign with Matt Sydal and how the fans viewed them as "ham sandwiches" waiting to lose the titles to Aries & Strong or the Briscoes. "You gave up on us." Then he hit a point "just because I’m part of TNA and the only people thinking there is a rivalry is you people. I was forced to make a decision three and a half years ago and I chose TNA." He then noted his bank statement was much bigger then Bryan Danielson. "Six figures." He then got super personal "do you think I can feed my daughter because you idiots chant this is awesome?" He did the clap by hitting the top of the microphone. He then talked about his son and the internet "giving me a four star match with Austin Aries." He then ripped hard on the fans saying "you have less then no knowledge of this business." "You used me up the same way you used up Samoa Joe." He also said "TNA tried to protect Joe from you people." Daniels also mentioned CM Punk and Colt Cabana "who you will forget in a week. The official Chris Daniels Farwell tour is starting now and ends once I step behind the curtain – you people have seen my last ROH match, you broke my heart, I quit." The crowd was so hot for him now chanting Don't Come Back. He pushed down Allison Danger and went to the back. What a fantastic promo to leave the company under as it was full of real feeling and emotion being used in this setting.

3. Brent Albright defeated BJ Whitmer, Homicide, and Jimmy Rave after pinning Whitmer at 10:15 after an Half Nelson Suplex, right after Whitmer hit a full nelson roll thru suplex on Homicide. Jimmy Rave, coming back from having a broken jaw at the hands of Nigel McGuinness in Liverpool) seemed to hurt again tonight while bumping heads with BJ Whitmer. His left eye looked extremely swollen and was bleeding and it seemed like he was missing from a lot of the end of the match. Rave also had to eat a top rope jawbreaker (too soon?) and a vicious Albright clothesline. Fine for what it was, even though they could have gone longer. Finish saw Whitmer hit his roll thru full nelson suplex on Homicide (where he hits the suplex and rolls thru it for another one). Albright is stiff and works great in ROH for a big man, I'd be very curious to see him vs. Morishima down the line. After the match, Whitmer and Homicide seemed to hint they would face each other again (for the first time in three years) very soon.

4. Austin Aries of the Resilience defeats "Chicken Legs" (at one point tonight the crowd chanted this) Rocky Romero of the No Remorse Corps in 12:29 after the brainbuster 450 Splash combination. Rocky looked very polished here and does a very nice Latin Salsa heelish dance as part of his lack of remorse. At one point of the match as Aries was on the top rope, Romero grabbed Austin's arm and applied an arm bar and drove him down to the mat from the rope, then into an ankle lock. He used submissions and kicks but it was all for naught. After the match, Roderick Strong came down to beat on Aries, only to be driven off by Delirious who went after Strong. Please note: this is the fourth time Delirious went running after a member of the No Remorse Corps, can the next time this happens – can Wayne the ROH sound guy play the Benny Hill chase music?

5. ROH Wold Heavyweight Championship: Takeshi Morishima defeats Shingo in 15:24 after a back drop driver. Second best match of the night and a very entertaining match. Shingo got a lot of offense against the big man, and even though he had little chance of beating Morishima this presented well where you believe an upset could come at any time. Shingo worked for some time but finally got Morishima in a suplex, and even hit a Death Valley Driver on the outside. Shingo used his speed and quickness to battle Morishima, but then tried to rely on power moves against the large Japanese world champion. He attempted a powerbomb but he fell back and Morishima sat on him earthquake style, after a super larieto, he hit the backdrop driver for the win. Excellent match – and it seems like SHINGO is going back to Dragon Gate in Japan and will be missed greatly as he has improved by leaps and bounds in ROH and has become a much better all around wrestler. While Takeshi Morishima is becoming more over with the fans for his style and doing Samoa Joe's OLE type moves into the barricades while using his rear end.

6. Natural Superior Athlete Tank Toland defeated Sugarfoot Alex Payne in 2:40 with the overhead spinebuster. Toland has a new Simon Dean like gimmick where he is trying to get Bobby Dempsey in shape and turn the chuck into hunk. This works perfect for Tolland who isn't as high flying as the other guys, but has a good body and the promo ability to make this work. It could at least lead to some very entertaining vinyettes. Oh yeah, Sugarfoot was way over in Chicago Ridge as he even got a theme (Down On Me by Jackyl) but no win.

7. Roderick Strong (with Rocky Romero) defeated Jack Evans in 15:12 with the CX '02 (Crucifix hold rotated into a cutter). Poor Evans was abused in this match, but at the same time he ran to the ring and hit on Roderick before the bell. Lots of high flying by Evans and a total lack of remorse by Strong. At one point Strong got the crowd to do the "shhhhhh" before one of his harsh chops –only to hit an eye poke. What a heel. Strong then would stretch out flexible and quarter century old Evans including doing a camel clutch and pulling back on Jack so much he ended up with Jack's head in his crotch. The crowd chanted "Tea Bag" - I was ashamed. Jack, who looks incredible sharp due to many tours for Dragon Gate came back with his high flying quick feet. But Roderick took advantage of a mistake on a corkscrew elbow into the corner when he caught Jack and dropped him flat to the mat. Jack made another comeback and called for the 630, only to have Roderick catch him on the top rope and hit the Scott Hall last call overhead slam off the middle rope. Another backbreaker, and then Strong put on his Stronghold. Evens got to the ropes, but as the referee was admonishing Strong, Romero got him with a kick to the face which set up the pin after the CX 02. Afterward, Romero joined in on a beating and Delirious made the save again, cutting a promo with plenty of spoken English about Roderick, Rocky and June 23rd.

8. ROH World Tag Team Titles: Mark & Jay Briscoe defeated The Motor City Machine Guns. (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) in 34:19 after Mark delivered a cutthroat driver to Shelley while at the same time Jay came off the top rope with a guillotine legdrop. Match of the night. An outstanding showcase of tag team wrestling by a very strong and powerful team (Bricoes) and a graceful team who should be a perminant tag team every Thursday night on Spike TV. I was amazed how good the former Murder City Machine Guns were live and how well their double teams worked and how they gelled together. I have 7 pages of notes on this match alone (plus I went to another show today for IWA-MS 180 people in Midlo where I saw an outstanding comedy match with the incredible Chuck Taylor's mullet vs. Joey Ryan's mustache and its almost 6am), and it was anything but a let down as it started slow but built up towards a crazy finish and so many near falls toward the end. Really, anything I write here doesn't do this baby justice – please get the DVD and please bring back the Motor City Machine Guns to ROH. They impressed the s*** out of me and it sure beats anything with them jumping out of a tree onto Bob Backlund. This f****** ruled.

9. Colt Cabana defeated Scrap Iron Adam Pearce in 13:28 with the Billy Goat's Curse (Inverted Boston crab). Cabana got the 1000 streamer treatment and Pearce attacked him while he was being introduced and they did some moves on the streamers as Colt almost mummified him with steamers. High on comedy (not as funny as CHUCK TAYLOR~!) but had its moments as it was the final match in ROH for the funny kid from Maxwell Street (or at least he was billed by then tonight). Match started with a test of strength which led to a YMCA by colt. Shane Hagadorn interfered but got booted after Colt pulled an Eddy and hit a chair against the ring apron and acted like it hit him in the head from Hagadorn. Colt selling this chair shot was quite sensational. Ooooooooow. Oooooooooooowe. Colt sold this like he was brain damaged from this chair. Really, it was quite great and Zach the ROH security guy escorted Hagadorn out. Fight went to the outside, Pearce pulled out some gold bond power (Cabana, CM Punk, Prazak, and Cabana were part of the gold bond mafia in the Midwest indys in the early 00's) but it didn't work. Colt hit a moonsault of the second rope, Pearce came back with a spine buster. Colt attempted his flying asshole into the corner, but Pearce in an awesome moment picked him up and hit a german for a near fall. Cabana a minute later got the flying asshole and the reverse crab for the submission. Short sweet and funny at times. Good stuff. Afterward, Cabana put over Pearce and them coming up together in the business and Cabana wanting to be like him – and Pearce spit in his face and went off in a huff. Then the ROH faces came down along with Mr. & Mrs. Cabana and Cabana gave a great speech about how he became a star in ROH and how much ROH means to him and how it’s the greatest company in the world and his only regret was not holding the world title and maybe someday down the road he can have Gabe Sapolsky use his pencil to give him a shot. Or something to that point…Very good speech and an emotional moment.

ROH returns to Chicago Ridge on Saturday June 23 with Takeshi Morishima, Naomichi Marufuji, and a rematch of the ROH match of the year in 2006 – American Dragon Bryan Danielson vs. KENTA.

DAMN! Това промо на Daniels ми звучи като силен кандидат за сегмент на годината. Супер яко ги е наковал и сигурно heat-а щe e страхотен. Задължително ще се гледа!

Айде и още малко да има:

St. Paul:

- LEGIT 700+, i heard they sold like 500 - 550 tickets and had over a hundred + for walk ins. i'm mad that they aren't coming back cuz i felt the crowd was more hot during the whole show overall than Chicago was (except for the last 3 Chicago matches). Aries was a god that night.

- i got there at 7: 20 and headed straight to the merch table where i bought International Showdown, Final Battle 06, and all 6 FYF shows and the new No Remorse Corps (Note: BUY THE SHIRT)

- i was in section c, row 5, seat 13, but since two people didn't show up, i moved down to seats and sat next to the guardrail by the entrance.

- Pre-Show Main Event (funny cuz it was the only pre show match :P): one of the best pre shows matches i've seen. Dingo Kid impressed cuz he was funny and looked like the Danny Bonniducci. fun short match.

- BEST WOMEN'S MATCH I'VE EVER SEEN: Mickie and Trish can go f*** themselves, the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew is the real deal. Lacey and Rain got lots of cheers but they jawed with the fans for cheering them cuz they were the heels. fun match with tons of cool moves you wouldn't expect them to see. best spot was Rain doing a lung blower and then Lacey hitting a back cracker as Del Ray came back up. Allison had an awesome mask on and the Dangerous Angels were great too. Lacey and Rain have the best asses i've ever seen

- Do or Die was next and was short. Mike Elgin looks like mini Rhino and received a "Gore" chant :P. Jimmy Rave ran out unexpectedly and got a huge ovation and a minute long "Jimmy Rave" and "Welcome Back" chant. Jimmy dominated the match and his jaw didn't bother him it seemed.

- Shingo vs. Whitmer was great. very stiff and hard hitting. lots of great spots including Shingo getting murdered by Whitmer's belly to belly/half nelson suplex/powerbomb combo. Shingo had fun with the crowd cuz a couple guys in section C (my section) had a big Japan flag and Dragon Gate banner.

- Ultimate Endurance was a lot of fun. very chaotic but fun. Quack came out to the biggest ovation that night for someone not named Austin Aries. tons of Quack chants and he seemed genuinely touched. Pelle Primeau and Mitch Franklin were sadly the jobber team in it and went out first. Franklin obviously wasn't on the same page as Pelle and Pelle shined as he lectured Mitch by saying stuff like "I appreciate the effort, but it's a submission match, so don't pin him" and he got tons of laughs for other stuff. Quack shined as Quack always does and busted out tons of Lucha and the Chikara guys wowed the crowd with arm drags. Akuma was stiff as hell and Jay's chest was red afterwards. Akuma and Wicked were eliminated next and it broke down to Briscoes vs. Jig and Quack and was really good for the 5 minutes they wrestled. Jigsaw got murdered and looked like he got the wind knocked out of him. Jay (i believe) got the pin and all the men got a standing "O". Quack was very concerned about Jig and loosened up his mask and sat down and Jig layed on Quack for a minute before Wicked and Quack helped Jig to the back. if i remember correctly, there was a "please come back" chant.

- Falls Count Anywhere brawl between Cide/Cabana vs. Pearce/Albright was INSANE. they immediately brawled all over the venue and Cide and Pearce brawled by me and i almost got kicked in the face by Pearce because my seat was caught on the guardrail and i couldn't move back. after they got back in the ring, Albright removed the guardrail in front of my section and brought it into the ring and draped it over the turnbuckles. it was later used as i believe Albright held Homicide up as if he was gonna powerbomb him but just whipped him into it. sick spot. Cabana got pinned in the end, but Cide and Cabana got the last laugh as they manhandled Hagadorn at the end. insane insane brawl that hopefully gets done justice on dvd.

- Intermission, i met one of my friends, Casey, from when i used to work at Wal-Mart and we talked

- Rocky Romero won a 4 way match that included Delirious, Evans, and Erick Stevens. Rocky played the chicken sh*t heel during it and Delirious was the hero. Evans got murdered and even puked up water as they helped him out of the ring at the end. not enough signature spots but still a really fun match. spot of the match was Delirious doing a Shadows over Hell onto Romero who had Evans in the ankle lock.

- Strong vs. Daniels was like a pure title match but with the regular "formula" type Daniels match. good, but not great. 20 count was lame.

- MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Morishima vs. Aries. Austin Aries was given the biggest ovation of the last two Chicago shows. he was our hero that night and we wanted him to win. crowd was on their feet for the last half as Aries kept trying to go for the combo. More on that in a minute. Morishima was a monster, literally. Aries had a tough time taking him down and Morishima no sold almost everything until Aries did his dive into the ring spots. crowd loved it when Aries dove thru the ropes onto Morishima and the crowd was up on their feet after that. Aries hit the crucifix pin a few times but could never follow it up. finally the last time he kicked Morishima in the head and went for the Brainbuster but couldn't lift Mori. after a couple more kicks to the head (about 3 in a row), he hit the brainbuster and hit the 450. THE CROWD WAS ABSOLUTELY GOING CRAZY.

1,2, 3......NEW CHAMP!

....REF NOTICES MORI HAD HIS FOOT ON THE ROPE AS HE COUNTED 3. the whole building boos and then Morishima hits the back drop driver for the 1,2, 3. poor Austin Aries.

the crowd gave both guys a standing ovation and the show ended. no return date cuz apparently ROH is too good for St. Paul.

- After the show as i was waiting outside, a girl who looked like Becky Bayless (her name was Becca and assured me she wasn't Becky Bayless, but nonetheless, she was gorgeous) interviewed me about Pelle Primeau for a class of hers and i said "Pelle steals every match that he's in and deserves another match with Morishima cuz that japanese bastard is lucky that last time in NYC that Pelle wasn't ready and Morishima cheap shotted him." or something along those lines

Match of the Night: Morishima vs. Aries

2nd Best: Shingo vs. Whitmer

3rd Best: Cabana/Cide vs. Albright/Pearce

Chicago Ridge:

- i got there at 7 just as the pre show started. i forget who was wrestling. i bought a program from that girl i thought was Becky Bayless and found my seat in Section A, Row 6, seat 15.

- Pre show main event was Lacey vs. a Chicago female wrestler. Jimmy once again was the cool cat with his smokes and crutches. Lacey got a streamer thrown at her and yelled at the guy "I'M NOT JAPANESE" lol

- 6 Man Mayhem: Delirious was the victor in the match that included all the Chikara guys (Quack, Jig, Wicked, and Akuma) and Pelle Primeau. Delirious started a "Colt Cabana" chant that got the crowd going :P. Pelle was everyone's b*tch and it was downright fun. Delirious even got to know Wicked in the ring and they bonded (they actually tag team in Chikara sometimes as Team Incoherence) and Delirious kept complimenting Wicked on his horn and green mask saying "habah we both have green masks ah." Quack once again got an amazing ovation and was genuinely touched again. great moment and they all got a "please come back" chant.

- Erick Stevens vs. Daniels was slow and sloppy at times. nothing spectacular. certainly not on the level of Claudio/Shelley from This Means War.

- After the match, Stevens got on the mic and said he wanted 5 more minutes but Daniels said he had seniority and said "NO". he then cut one of the best promos i've heard from him saying that he HATED the ROH crowd because they didn't care about him and were the only ones with the TNA vs. ROH war ideas. he also said he REGRETS ever coming back to ROH and announced his farewell tour. it started the second he announced it and ended the minute he walked thru the curtain. Allison tried pleading with him but Daniels shoved her away and walked out. Whitmer tried to stop him but was more concerned with Allison and helped her out. The crowd was genuinely shocked and it was very awkward (in a good way) cuz the crowd didn't know what was going on or how to respond. great promo but with a sad ending. thank you for everything, Daniels.

- Brent Albright beat Homicide, BJ Whitmer, and Jimmy Rave in a 4 way match. i missed the beginning because i went to buy a ticket. all i remember is Whitmer doing his combo and then getting pinned after. fun match towards the end. Rave got killed. he took a super chinbreaker and i'll more on Rave in a minute.

- Sid was at the entrance like always talking with people and i bought a front row ticket for next show. Section C, Row 1, Seat 9.

- Austin Aries beat Rocky Romero with the 450. fun match but i expected more. Romero spat at Austin a lot. best moment of the match was these two little girls in Section D yelling at him and Romero yelling back "SHUT UP LITTLE GIRL" which prompted the little girls to start a "CHICKEN LEGS" chant every few minutes which really got over with section D and A. gotta love 5 year olds....(RF better not be reading this). after the match, Roddy came out to beat down Aries with Romero and Romero hit a van terminator. Delirious came out and chased them off with some chairs.

- Morishima vs. Shingo was next. AWESOME MATCH. much better than i'm sure anyone expected. Shingo got a great reaction and people were very behind him and the super mullet. most of the match was focused on Shingo trying to lift Morishima. tons of great spots after he finally did. i can't recall all the goodness that happened, but Mori one with the back drop driver in i guess 15 minutes. nice ovation for both guys. too bad it was Shingo's last night until he returns. i hope he comes back sooner, rather than later.

- Intermission: Bobby Cruise announced the return for June 23rd including Takeshi Morishima, Naomichi Marufuji and a rematch from last year.....BRYAN DANIELSON VS. KENTA. i officially wet myself and freaked out that i had front row tickets.

- As i was outside getting some air and calling a girl, i sat down in front of the Fieldhouse where they have some flags and the car i was sitting next to just happened to be Jimmy Rave's. i told him that it was great that he's back and that hopefully he's fully recovered from his jaw injury and he said it felt fine but his eye was what was killing him and he pointed at it and i noticed it was pretty black and swollen all around. poor guy. i got a picture with him and told him good luck and i'd be cheering for him.

- After getting something to drink, i met my buddy Chicago_Nut and we talked and i think i convinced him to buy a No Remorse Corps shirt (i was wearing mine that i bought in St. Paul). then intermission was pretty much over and i spotted Dave Prazak and told him i was a big SHIMMER fan and got a picture with him. the Japanese guy he was with was laughing at him cuz i called him "Mr. Prazak". he also told me to check out the next SHIMMER tapings and to bring friends.

- Bobby Dempsey vs. Alex "Sugar F'N Foot" Payne didn't start as it was interrupted by Tank Toland who proclaimed that neither guy looked like a wrestler. Payne looked like either a 12 yr old boy or a little girl. he also called Bobby "chubby Charlie" and said he probably didn't know whether to kiss Payne or eat him. he then told he could shape Bobby into shape so he had a better body cuz Toland was a "SUPERIOR LOOKING ATHLETE" (apparently his new catchphrase). he then told him he would prove that he was right by beating Payne and Toland dominated the match. Toland was really good on the mic and got some decent heat even if most of the audience didn't care. very "i'm from WWE and i have the best body here" kind of thing.

- Strong beat Evans in a really fun match. Roddy looked like he didn't want to be there and Jack bumped for our pleasure. Roddy kept reversing everything Jack tried and finally put him away with a Razor's Edge into an Ace Crusher. nice move and hopefully Roddy uses it more. Romero came out and they beat down Evans. Delirious made the save and challenged Roddy to a match on 6/23.

- MATCH OF THE YEAR: Briscoes © vs. Motor City Machine Guns. awesome awesome awesome. this is your current match of the year ladies and gentlement. granted i haven't seen Nigel vs. Morishima or Jacobs/Whitmer cage match, but wow, they'd have to be damn near 4 3/4 or 5 stars to beat this match. Shelley got a huge ovation and a "welcome back" chant. very fast paced match and the crowd was in the palm of their hands. the last 10-15 minutes was nonstop nearfalls and double team moves. the crowd was very split for both teams and Sabin got the biggest pop i've ever heard when he kicked out of the cut throat driver towards the end. everyone that was remained seated before that instantly jumped to their feet and i could see tons of people jumping up and down in excitement. insanely stiff and spotty match. TNA needs to make the MCMG tag champs and Gabe needs to book them more. the ending came with the cut throat driver/leg drop combo on Shelley i believe. MCMG got a "please come back chant" and then they snatched the belts from the Briscoes. they looked like they were gonna brawl but then Shelley and Sabin helped them put the belts on them. Sabin did it quick but Shelley messed it up and took him a minute.

(Quick Note: I have the same haircut as Sabin)

- Cabana's farewell: Pearce came out to booes and Cabana came out with Kid Russel who performed live. pretty cool moment. Cabana got a ton of streamers as he entered the ring and even more during the entrance. i want to say double what Punk got, but maybe not that much. the match was pretty good as Cabana was hilarious and Pearce was being the heel but he was hilariously chicken sh*t. i forget the ending but i think Cabana hit the Colt 45 for the win.

- After the match, Colt said that it was because of Adam Pearce that he is where he is today. he looked up to him, and when he broke into the business, Pearce was the one guy who helped him out and helped shape him into what he is today. Cabana offered a handshake but Pearce took the mic and said he remembers Cabana when he was little and that they went to rival high schools and Momma Cabana even made him Scrambled Eggs...but then he spat in Cabana's face and stormed out.

- Most of the locker room emptied and entered the ring for Colt. his parents were there too and his dad was sporting a "Colt 45" shirt. Cabana sat on the turnbuckle and said that ever since he saw Paul London kiss the ROH logo in the middle of the ring, he always thought about what he'd do one day....but he had nothing special planned :P. he also said that whenever someone leaves they usually say how great the company is but the audience has heard that already so he'd skip it. he praised Cary for saving the company and Gabe for making it as great as it is today (he was standing on the ring entrance and might make an odd appearance on dvd). Cabana said that he was always told he could do whatever he wanted with his life and they supported him 110% with his decision to be a pro wrestler. his dream was to be a real superstar, and he didn't mean that he was going to go be that, but that he already was because of ROH and loved the company and the fans to death. finally he said that he never held the one thing he wanted the most, the ROH World Title, and that he'd be back someday to claim it. very emotional speech and the crowd was in the palm of his hand. tons of "thanks you Colt", "Colt Cabana" and "We Love Colt" chants.

- After the show, Bobby Cruise announced that Cabana would be signing autographs and after getting my picture with Bobby Cruise, i headed over to the line and happilly shelled out 10 dollars to get an autograph and to meet Colt. i told him good luck in the 'E' and if he ever gets tired of beating up John Cena that he should definitely come back and show the future ROH stars how it's really done.

Match of the Night: Briscoes vs. MCMG

2nd Best: Morishima vs. Shingo

3rd Best: Strong vs. Evans

In Closing:

Awesome weekend. i drove over 900 miles to go to both shows and back home and it was well worth it. definitely buy these dvds when they come out. Briscoes vs. MCMG must be seen to believe and Colt's farewell is one of the best moments in ROH history. i cannot wait till June 23rd :). too bad that there won't be another St. Paul show. anyone wanna start a petition?

We Will Miss You, Colt
