Big (relatively) win for Shiosaki as he pins dojo trainer Kishin Kawabata with his new finisher, a vertical suplex into sitout Final Cut. This is Shiosaki's first win over a native roster member (apart from the new rookie class) since he cradled Mitsuo Momota in late 2004.

Sano's deadly rolling savate kick to the face, which floored Takashi Sugiura at the last Budokan show, did the job again tonight as he pinned Taue for a big victory. Could Sano be the next challenger for the GHC Heavyweight Title?

Doug Williams and Yoshinari Ogawa came into their Budokan singles with an identical 2 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw against eachother. In what was said to be a fantastic technical display, as any NOAH fan would have expected following their interactions over the years, Williams scored his biggest singles victory in his NOAH tenure by pinning the former GHC Heavyweight champion cleanly with a crucifix hold.

In what was said to be a high-spurt match, Jun Akiyama managed to fend off a very motivated Mohammed Yone, who sneak attacked Akiyama before the match started. Yone's Muscle Buster was not enough to put away Akiyama however, as he hit his patented Wrist-Clutch Exploder for the victory.
