Paragon Pro Wrestling, a newer promotion out of Las Vegas that has been running a little under a year, informed their locker room last night at a TV Taping that they would be announcing a TV deal with Pop TV, a national cable network that was formerly the TV Guide Network, according to several sources.

The promotion has featured mostly Southern California talents of late as well as former TNA star Jesse Sorensen (who is their current champion), former WWE star Gangrel, former WWE Diva Lisa Marie Varon and EVOLVE star Caleb Konley.

The promotion is owned and operated by Jeff Manning, who's been running the Portland area under the West Coast Wrestling Connection banner for years and has appeared on camera for different promotions as Morty Lipschitz.

The website for the promotion lists Len "The Grappler" Denton as the Director of Wrestling Operations and I am told he is booking the promotion.

We are told former TNA announcer Todd Kenelеy has been tapped to do the announcing for the show.

Former WWE star Matt Striker is said to be producing and directing for the company.

As noted, the promotion taped TV last night and I was told they had state of the art equipment for the taping. No word when the series will debut, but the locker room was told this summer.

The plan is to do a very old school style show, which will be taped, most often, the second Tuesday of the month. They are moving tapings to Samstown in Las Vegas, which had been the home of Future Stars of Wrestling.

Pop TV launched in the summer of 2014. It is available in more than 85 million households and is owned in part by Lion's Gate and CBS.

Paragon Pro Wrestling (PPW) announces it will debut on POP TV Saturday, July 4th

Beginning Saturday, July 4th, Paragon Pro Wrestling will air on POP TV every Saturday at 6:00am across the country. When informed of the debut date and time slot, PPW commentator, Jeff Akin, said, “This is incredible! What better day to launch a celebration in pro wrestling than the 4th of July! This reminds me of waking up with my older brothers and watching Saturday morning wrestling back when I was a kid.”

With a roster of top competitors, Paragon Pro Wrestling will finally bring the excitement of “old school” professional wrestling back to network television. Competitors like Gangrel, “Big Money” Tyshaun Prince, Wes Brisco and the Paragon Pro Wrestling Champion, Jessy Sorenson have found the arena in which they will face the best in the sport today.

Няма какво толкова да се казва. Нова федерация, базирана в Лас Вегас. Различното при нея е, че за разлика от всички други федерации в национален ефир не телевизията им плаща, а те плащат на телевизията, за да им излъчва шоуто и в замяна вероятно получават парите от рекламите. Много слаб roster за шоу в национален ефир и яко забутан час на излъчване.

Paragon Pro Wrestling is moving from 6:00am to 8:00am every Saturday morning on Pop.

Viewers of Paragon Pro Wrestling will be able to watch their weekly program at 8:00am Eastern and Pacific, 7:00am Central, 9:00am Mountain beginning on Saturday, October 3rd. Satellite providers may air from the East Coast feed. Check your local listings for the time and channel in your area.

Officials at Paragon Pro Wrestling were excited to hear about the new timeslot. PPW Promoter, Jeff Manning said, "This new timeslot on Pop gives us at Paragon Pro Wrestling an exciting opportunity to do what we have been doing for the past three months: providing quality pro wrestling that families can enjoy together." Paragon Pro Wrestling's weekly program began airing on Pop Saturday, July 4th, 2015.
