1. IWGP Jr. Tag Team Title: KUSHIDA & Alex Shelley beat Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson © (16:50) when KUSHIDA used the Hoverboard Lock on Nick to become the 38th champions.

2. Tetsuya Naito beat Tama Tonga (8:13) with a Stardust press.

3. Hirooki Goto & Katsuyori Shibata beat Yuji Nagata & Tomoaki Honma (11:20) when Goto used a reverse Ushikoroshi on Honma.

4. NWA World Tag Team Title: Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima © beat Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr. (15:26) when Kojima used a lariat on Smith (3rd defense).

5. IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title: Kota Ibushi © beat Ricochet (13:37) with a Phoenixplex (4th defense).

6. Special Tag Match: Minoru Suzuki & Takashi Iizuka beat Toru Yano & Kazushi Sakuraba (15:13) when Suzuki used a Gotch-style piledriver on Yano.

7. Special Tag Match: AJ Styles & Yujiro Takahashi beat Kazuchika Okada & Tomohiro Ishii (15:53) when Takahashi used the Miami Shine on Ishii.

8. IWGP Tag Team Title: Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows © beat Hiroshi Tanahashi & Togi Makabe (14:41) when Anderson pinned Makabe after the Magic Killer (5th defense).

9. IWGP Intercontinental Title: Bad Luck Fale beat Shinsuke Nakamura © () with the Bad Luck Fall to become the 9th champion.

The Bullet Club completed a monopoly of all heavyweight titles in New Japan today when Bad Luck Fale pulled off a major upset by pinning Shinsuke Nakamura to win the IWGP Intercontinental Title in the main event. This means that AJ Styles holds the IWGP Heavyweight Title, Fale holds the IWGP Intercontinental Title and Anderson & Gallows hold the IWGP Tag Team Title. And Yujiro wants to add the NEVER Openweight Title to that collection with a match against Ishii likely soon.

Fale’s title win came after Anderson & Gallows had beaten the “King Ace” of Tanahashi & Makabe to make a successful V5 defense of the IWGP Tag Team Title with Anderson pinning Makabe.

Best of the Super Jr. winner Ricochet failed to capitalize on that achievement by losing in his attempt to win the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title from Kota Ibushi, who won an exciting match with his Phoenixplex. The two showed mutual respect after the match with a handshake.

It wasn’t all great for the Bullet Club with the six month IWGP Jr. Tag Team Title reign of the Young Bucks coming to an end when Time Splitters defeated them in the opener to begin their second reign, a little over a year since their first came to an end.

New Japan announced participants for the 2014 G1 Climax with IWGP Heavyweight Champion, AJ Styles, making his first appearance in the tournament! The rest of the cast is mostly expected and includes all of New Japan’s singles champions, including junior king Kota Ibushi.

Also announced was a new partnership with Jeff Jarrett’s upstart Global Force Wrestling and that 5 ROH stars will work the final day of the G1 tour at the Seibu Dome (for which ticket sales are going well): Bobby Fish, Adam Cole, Michael Bennett, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish and Maria Kanellis.

Wow, нов Интерконтинентален шампион?! Е това не го очаквах; и то точно Bad Luck Fale. Поне, признавам, е качил ниво на ринга - сефте да ми хареса и да не ми стои непоклатим като боабаб (като дърво, сиреч). Bullet Club дропиха една джобърска и дръпнаха една МЕ титла - not bad for a change. Мачът между Time Splitters и Young Bucks също (очаквано) на много високо ниво. Shibata и Nagata се помляха от бой; тоя целия отборен мач беше голема налагалка де, много благо за окото. Въобще, първата половина на карда ми хареса (като кеч качество) повече от втората, а Kota Ibushi и Ricochet сцепиха - ебати мача, ебати изпълненията. Takahashi почти успя да убие Ishii с тоя бочнат Buckle Bomb, aз бех изтръпнал за половин минута, не знам на него какво му е било.
