Word going around TNA is that Vince Russo is once again working with the company. TNA recently reached out to some creative people for some consulting on their TV product and Russo was reportedly one of those people.

As of this past Friday, The Undertaker's WrestleMania XXX match was said to be set in stone, likely against Brock Lesnar.

Congratulations are in order for WWE Hall of Famer Edge and his girlfriend, former WWE Divas champion Beth Phoenix, who welcomed the birth of their first child a few weeks ago.

During an appearance on CBC in Canada, Edge made the announcement and said the birth of his child was the most romantic thing he’s ever experienced.

MMA fighter and TNA star Rampage Jackson was interviewed by MMAMania.com. Jackson took issue with people who say pro wrestling is “fake” and said he has a lot of respect for pro wrestlers.

 

“I really respect those guys. A lot of people hate on pro wrestling. They say ‘that’s fake.’ It’s not really fake. It’s entertainment. It’s not really fake, but if they want to hate on pro wrestlers and call it fake then they shouldn’t watch any action movies at all. Action movies are the fakest things.”

He added that he wouldn’t mind getting hit with steel chairs, however he doesn’t plan on doing anything “crazy” like getting put through tables off the top rope.

It appears WWE has dropped “Antonio” from Antonio Cesaro’s name. His entire profile on the WWE roster page has been edited to reflect the name change and his Twitter name has been changed to just Cesaro also.

After a week where the CM Punk talk has started to die down, people within WWE are looking ahead to the March 3rd RAW from Chicago. There is a lot of concern about how that show will play out. With The Undertaker and Hulk Hogan scheduled to return at the February 24th RAW, they could be brought to the Chicago RAW as a way to counter the Punk chants.

There was less concern this past week because while there were Punk chants at live events, they didn't pick up or last that long. The feeling is that with nothing major happening with the Los Angeles crowd at RAW on Monday, it's pretty much a done situation with the possible exception of Chicago.

There are fans online who have been pushing #HijackRAW hashtags for upcoming RAW tapings which include Monday’s RAW from Chicago. There is also a Twitter account set up to encourage fans to take over Monday’s show.

WWE officials are aware of this and they are planning accordingly. With Monday’s Raw being in CM Punk’s hometown of Chicago expect WWE to pull out all the stops in order to keep the CM Punk chants to a minimum.

WWE Superstar Batista got into a physical altercation with a fan at Friday night’s WWE live event from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Prior to his match against the Big Show, Batista exchanged words at ringside with Cam Carson, a radio DJ from the local Power 97 station that was a co-sponsor of the show. According to multiple fan accounts, Carson hit Batista in the back/shoulder area as he was turning to enter the ring for his match. Batista then allegedly got in his face and shoved him down. Carson attempted to climb over the ringside barricade but was stopped by security.

Several minutes later, Batista was circling the ring (after his match) and flipped Carson the bird. That led to Carson getting riled up and trying to hop the rail again, which led to security escorting him away.
