Earlier today the legendary Kenta Kobashi held a press conference at the NOAH offices to announce that his retirement show will be held on May 11th at the Nippon Budokan. The event will be called "FINAL BURNING in Budokan" and will be a joint production between Kobashi and Pro-Wrestling NOAH.

Originally, Kobashi wanted to hold his retirement show in February but he said that he will need a few more months than originally planned to prepare for his final match. He added that his neck is doing better and that he wants to spend February to April training and preparing for the upcoming match. He wants to take his time in training and he is not looking to rush things. He said he chose the Nippon Budokan as the arena for the show because it means a lot to his career and means a lot to pro wrestling. Kobashi has not decided yet on who else will be in his final match but he looks to have the show be almost like a festival with more than just one match to look forward to seeing.

Kobashi:

Kenta Kobashi, Keiji Muto, Kensuke Sasaki & Jun Akiyama vs. Go Shiozaki, KENTA, Maybach Taniguchi & Yoshinobu Kanemaru
