ROH's Showdown In The Sun iPPV takes place on March 30th and 31st from the War Memorial Auditorum in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Ring of Honor Showdown In The Sun Night 1:

1. Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions "The Baddest Tag Team on the Planet" #DemBoys The Briscoes (Jay & Mark) defeated TMDK (Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste) by pinfall with the Doomsday Device.

2. Non-Title Match:

Adam Cole defeated NWA World Heavyweight Champion "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce by pinfall with a roll-up after countering a piledriver attempt.

After the match, Pearce adhered to the Code of Honor.

3. Tornado Tag Team Match:

The All Night Express (Kenny King & Rhett Titus) defeated The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) by pinfall when Titus pinned Nick with an O'Connor Roll.

After the match, The Bucks attacked Titus's previously injured right knee with a steel chair.

4. Ring of Honor Television Title:

Jay Lethal © defeated Kyle O'Reilly by pinfall to retain the title with the Lethal Injection.

After the match, Lethal & Tommaso Ciampa, who was at ringside, had a staredown as Ciampa & The Embassy Limited are still in possession of Lethal's Television Title belt.

5. Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) defeated The C & C Wrestle Factory (Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander) by pinfall when Benjamin pinned Alexander with a top rope belly-to-belly suplex.

6. Mike Bennett w/"The 1st Lady of Ring of Honor" Maria Kanellis defeated Lance Storm by pinfall with a TKO.

After the match, Bennett went to extend his hand to Storm, but suckered him in it and laid Storm out with the Box Office Smash.

7. "La Revancha!" Last Man Standing Match:

"Wrestling's Worst Nightmare" Kevin Steen defeated "The Generic Luchador" El Generico when Jimmy Jacobs interfered and turned on Generico, hitting him with the spike and a steel chair shot to the head to force Generico to not be able to answer the 10 count.

8. Triple Threat Elimination Match for the Ring of Honor World Title:

"American Wolf" Davey Richards © defeated "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards & Roderick Strong w/Truth Martini by pinfall to retain the title. First, Strong eliminated Edwards with a small package. Finally, Richards eliminated Strong with a roundhouse kick.

After the match, Michael Elgin laid out Richards with the 360* Powerbomb and promised to win the title tomorrow to close the show

Ring of Honor Showdown In The Sun Night 2:

1. Jimmy Jacobs defeated El Generico. They fought over the spike, and Jacobs rolled up Generico for the pin.

2. Tomasso Ciampa (w/The Embassy) defeated Cedric Alexander (w/Caprice Coleman). Ciampa attacked before the bell. He connected with two knees that drove Cedric's head into the ring post and covered for the victory. After the match, Prince Nana kicked Coleman and Coleman went after him only to take Project Cimapa.

3. Ring of Honor vs Chikara:

TJ Perkins defeated Fire Ant. Perkins connected with the 450 splash for the win. After the match, they shook hands.

4. Kyle O'Reilly defeated Adam Cole

5. Street Fight Match:

The Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) defeated The All Night Express (Rhett Titus and King). While Titus hit a power bomb through a table, King goes through the table as well via a superplex. Matt covers King to get the win

* Mike Bennett with Maria cuts a promo on beating Lance Storm last night. He says it was bigger to him than winning the World title. He says he should call himself a World champion because he's that good. He makes out with Maria for a long time in the ring to chants of "Yes!"

6. ROH World Tag Team Championship Match:

The Briscoe Brothers © defeated Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team. Benjamin took Mark out and Haas locked in his Haas of Pain on Jay. Jay was able to make it to the ropes and they setup for the Leap of Faith. Mark recovered and hit a missile dropkick on Benjamin. Jay rolled Haas up for the pinfall.

7. Kevin Steen defeated Eddie Edwards. Steen hit a power bomb for a near fall. Edwards tried for the Achilles Lock and he locked it in. Steen hits an inside cradle for the win.

8. ROH TV Championship Match:

Roderick Strong (w/Truth Martini) defeated Jay Lethal ©. Ciampa grabbed Lethal and slammed him into the post. He rolled Lethal back in the ring and Strong hit the Strong Bow for the pinfall.

9. ROH World Championship Match:

Davey Richards © defeated Michael Elgin (w/ Truth Martini). Elgin rolled  through the Ankle Lock and sent Richards into the corner. Richards hit a kick to the head and he only got a one count. Richards with a series of kicks for a near fall and finally a round house kick to the head for the win. After the match, Davey grabbed a mic and put over ROH and Elgin.

Очаквано, две победи за Richards и две победи за Steen, като сега може да очакваме Колосалния им сблъсък за титлата. Иначе с едно изключение всичко е от добро до страхотно. Не ми се иска да мрънкам, но доста неуместна загуба на Adam Cole с оглед на това че през последния месец взе тушове над Richards, Elgin, Pearce и оказа прилична офанзива на Steen. Както и да е, като човек който става все по-голям фен на хлапето се надявам да го видя с титлата на ROH след време, когато е напълно готов за това.

Аз също станах голям фен на Adam Cole.Определено му се отразява донре това,че е един вид протеже на Eddie Edwards.

Страшен мач беше и аз го гледах и нямам думи просто,всеки трябва да го гледа. :)

Най-накрая стигнах и до тоя мач (Davey Richards vs. Michael Elgin), като това определено бе един от тези мачове, които от доста време исках да гледам, тъй като Elgin е страхотен работяга на ринга и общо взето ми е един от най-симпатичните кечисти в ROH.

Мачът определено оправда очакванията ми, двамата се разцепиха и ме държаха на ръба на стола през по-голямата част от сблъсъка - страхотни изпълнения (Gуardrail Bomb-a беше БОЛЕН) и повдигания и от двете страни. Единственото от което съм леко разочарован е краят. Според мен не се получи както трябваше, поради което ще захапя леко оценката на Melzer тук - дал е на този мач ***** (и почти с право), където накрая кечистите малко изпуснаха нещата (разбираемо, бяха се скапали и им тежаха крайниците) и не бяха много убедителни в изпълнението на звършека, докато на един мач между Ange с/у Michaels (който имаше и наистина страхотна история зад гърба си (намигам към Punk с/у Cena)) не даде ***** звезди, защото единият от двамата кечисти "не бил sell-нал достатъчно Ankle Lock-a". Това, за мен, си е чиста проба лицемерие (и двата (дори и трите) мача заслужават с пълно право *****).

Промото на Davey след мача беше доста прилично, като най-важната част от него бе обръщението му към Elgin - след това обръщение съм почти убеден, че след като загуби титлата си от Kevin Steen (който също направи страхотен мач с Eddie Edwards) в близко бъдеще и след едно достатъчно дълго време на царуване на The Wrestling's Worst Nightmare с нея, титлата ще отиде при The Unbreakable One.*

В общи линии доста стабилно iPPV. Язък, че възможностите на ROH са такива, каквито са и не могат да ни предложат "по-лъскава опаковка" на иначе страхотния си продукт.
