Tanahashi vs Kojima... MVP debuts, определено е event-че което не трябва да се пропуска! Отдавна не съм теглил NJPW, все не остава време, но това си заслужава вниманието.

MVP has finally landed in Japan and he is ready for his debut match in NJPW on 2/20.

Earlier today at a press conference, MVP said he is happy to be in the premier wrestling company on the planet. He said he was limited in what he could do while WWE but in Japan it's a whole new ballpark. In Japan he is going to be free to open himself up and show what he has to offer. MVP is all about respect and is grateful for being in Japan and being able to be in the ring. It should also be noted that MVP has his eyes on Tanahashi and the IWGP belt, that is if Tanahashi remains champion following the 2/20 match against Kojima.

MVP will also be representing NJPW when they come to the USA for the 3 day tour, and would also like to have his name thrown into the hat for a shot at being the first IWGP Intercontinental champion.

NOSAWA Rongai will not compete on today's show after getting arrested due to allegedly trying to steal a taxi. He was reportedly drunk when he argued with a taxi driver nearby the Sendai Hotel. NOSAWA was arrested around 2AM JST yesterday. There's more to the story but that's the gist of it.

His replacement for his tag match with the debuting MVP will be Taichi.

2. Jushin Thunder Liger, Ryusuke Taguchi & KUSHIDA beat Jado, Gedo & Killer Rabbit (8:45) when KUSHIDA used the Midnight Express on Rabbit.

3. Mascara contra Mascara: Tiger Mask beat Tomohiro Ishii (8:45) with a Tiger suplex hold.

4. Elimination Match: Shinsuke Nakamura, Toru Yano, Takashi Iizuka & Yujiro Takahashi beat Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Yuji Nagata, Wataru Inoue & King Fale (21:41). Takahashi used the Tokyo Pimps on Fale (4:43). Tenzan used the TTD on Takahashi (6:18). Iizuka threw Tenzan over the top rope (13:58). Inoue used the Spear of Justice on Iizuka (14:56). Yano used the Uragasumi on Inoue (15:30). Nagata used an inside cradle on Yano (18:10). Nakamura used the Boma Ye on Nagata (21:41).

5. IWGP Tag Team Title Match: Giant Bernard & Karl Anderson © beat Manabu Nakanishi & Strong Man (18:28) when Bernard used the Bernard Driver on Strong Man (6th defense).

6. IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title Match: Prince Devitt © beat TAKA Michinoku Kaientai Dojo (13:17) with the Bloody Sunday (5th defense).
