2. CMLL World Welterweight Title: Ryusuke Taguchi beat Mascara Dorada © (11:20) by 2-1. Dorada pinned Taguchi (4:25). Taguchi used the Shika Koroshi on Dorada (1:30). Taguchi used the Dodon on Dorada (5:25) to become the 25th champion.

3. CMLL World Middleweight Title: Jushin Thunder Liger © beat La Sombra (16:28) by 2-1. Sombra used a Tornillo on Liger (3:50). Liger used a modified chickenwing armlock on Sombra (2:06). Liger used a brainbuster on Sombra (10:32).

4. IWGP Tag Team Title: Giant Bernard & Karl Anderson © beat Atlantis & OKUMURA (13:06) when Anderson used the Gun Stun on OKUMURA (5th defense).

5. Tomohiro Ishii & Dragon Rojo Jr. beat Tiger Mask & La Mascara (10:06) when Rojo Jr. used a front cradle on Mascara.

6. Black Cat Memorial Match: Shinsuke Nakamura, Tetsuya Naito & Averno beat Hiroshi Tanahashi, Prince Devitt & Mistico (14:33) when Averno used a face buster on Mistico.

* An eventful first half of the double header at Korakuen with three title matches!

* The mighty Mistico falls on day one! Teaming with fellow fan favourites Tanahashi and Devitt, he went down to Averno, who allied with CHAOS’ Nakamura and Naito. Mistico and Averno meet in singles action tomorrow.

* The dominant Bad Intentions remain IWGP Tag Team Champions following a victory over Atlantis & OKUMURA (Shigeo Okumura). Unlike the other two title matches, which were held under standard lucha format, this was a typical one fall bout.

* Liger held on to the CMLL World Middleweight Title, won last May, with a narrow victory over La Sombra

* Ryusuke Taguchi captured his first singles belt since the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title in 2007 by beating Mascara Dorada to capture the CMLL World Welterweight Title, another CMLL singles belt to enter New Japan hands!

2. Giant Bernard, Karl Anderson & Jushin Thunder Liger beat Atlantis, Dragon Rojo Jr. & Taichi (11:08) when Bernard used the Bernard Driver on Taichi.

3. CMLL World 6 Man Tag Team Title: La Sombra, Mascara Dorada & La Mascara © beat Yujiro Takahashi, Tetsuya Naito & OKUMURA (24:27) by 3-2. Sombra used an Arabian press on Takahashi (5:18). Dorada used a DDT on Naito (5:31). Naito used a jackknife hold on Dorada (4:35). Takahashi pinned Sombra after the Limitless Explosion (4:49). Mascara used the La Campana on OKUMURA (4:14).

4. Mascara contra Cabellera: Tiger Mask beat Tomohiro Ishii (12:16) with a Tiger suplex hold.

5. Double Main Event I: Mistico beat Averno (16:50) by 2-1. Averno used the Devil Wings (3:06). Mistico pinned Averno (1:53). Mistico used the La Mistica (11:51).

6. Double Main Event II – IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Title: Prince Devitt & Ryusuke Taguchi beat Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega © (16:32) when Taguchi used the Black Sunday on Omega to become the 28th champions.

* Apollo 55 regained the IWGP Jr. Tag Team Title from the Golden Lovers in what was said to have been an incredible match. The Black Sunday, not to be confused with Devitt’s Bloody Sunday, was debuted. Not sure if it is a combination move or a Taguchi move as he scored the pin. After the match, TAKA Michinoku and NOSAWA Rongai invaded the ring and challenged the new champions to a match. Both Devitt and Taguchi are now 2-crown champions, holding a singles title each along with the tag belts.

* Mistico avenged his loss in yesterday’s trios match to Averno with a victory in another match reported to have been very exciting.

* Tiger Mask finally got his revenge for months of mask-tearing by beating Ishii to deprive him of his hair. However, it wasn’t so straightforward as following his haircut, Ishii again attacked Tiger and removed his mask!

* NO LIMIT along with Okumura could not bring another CMLL title into Japanese hands as they fell to their CMLL opposition in a lengthy match that went all the way.

* Both shows were said have had great entertainment value and the fans were very satisfied by what they saw.
