NJPW пак става член на NWA

Не че има кой знае какво значение, но все пак нека да го има като новина:

New Japan Pro Wrestling as a member of the National

Wrestling Alliance. New Japan has long been the

standard-bearer for excellence in professional

wrestling in the Far East.

With New Japan's "return home", the NWA continues its

mission to provide wrestling fans with the finest in

professional wrestling from every part of the globe.

Along with our recent expansions into Australia,

Mexico and Puerto Rico and our long standing members

in Canada and the United Kingdom, the addition of New

Japan to the NWA assures fans that they will see the

finest wrestlers in the world competing for the most

prestigious championship in the world--The NWA World

Heavyweight Championship.

I want to thank New Japan's International Coordinator,

Tiger Hattori, Chief Financial Officer, M. Nishizawa,

and President, Naoki Sugabashi for all their efforts

in making this pair a reality

Интересното в случая е друго. По принцип досега само една федерация е имала правото да бъде член на NWA в Япония, защото правата за членство в Япония са собственост на Antonio Inoki. Inoki ги беше дал на Zero-One Max, после преди около две години бяха при New Japan и миналата година правата отидоха при IGF. Сега не знам как е ситуацията, но по принцип NWA признаваха IGF на Inoki като членка на съюза, а пък IWGP Heavyweight титлата на Angle я признаваха като регионална японска титла. Сега пак New Japan са членове на съюза, което би трябвало да означава, че Inoki им е предостъпил правата, което пък би трябвало да означава, че има някакво подобрение в отношенията между Inoki & New Japan, които отношения така или иначе са леко странни през последните години. Хммм, странна ситуация. Ще се следи.
